So....
Having changed the belts on my 182 around 6 weeks ago, I've very cleverly managed to let the engine run dry of oil, and not noticed till the bottom end started to tap at me.
Engine is still running but it's BLOODY noisy and obviously now in need of change!!!
My question is.....
How...
Update::
Besides a fair bit of mileage I've been having a think about what's been causing the unsteady feeling when I'm braking hard. Car felt unsteady and like it was going to throw me off the road. I remembered looking at the rear discs and thinking the off side was a little too poor on...
Well here goes for a Clio project for me. Please forgive me the lack of pictures in the first post, I'll get that sorted as soon as I can get back onto a good phone that will allow me to upload them to Flickr...
It all started at the begining of the year when I was talking to @Valver16...
I was going to say just this. Depending on how much of the undertray you have still in place it really does come down to the two side bolts and a quick tug doesn't it??
There will be some play in drop links, though they're not the same as the one's that link to the shock struts. Got the same issue on a 1.2 that was cured by the little links being changed... have a look at what you have on there, it may be fine, but you may see the rubber is knackered...
Spotted at Tesco in Larkfield the other night, I was in a rush to get away so probably appeared to drive off like a c**k... I'm not normally that bad lol
I'm on the search for another 1*2, and seen this on the bay...
I don't like the wheels, but they will do for track wheels and tyres.
I'm more interested in the rest of it. The drivers seat doesn't bother me in the slightest as one of the first bigger purchases will be buckets.
I was wondering...
The bloke who's car it is will be taking it in there, I'm not interested in driving it as I can't afford to replace it if I break it, and my traders policy won't cover it as it's too expensive for my options... He's bought it with a nice set of CSL's on, and lowered around them by the previous...
I used to send and be sent to Elite Racing in Essex to get a good setup for suspension and overal geo setup.
Are they still the people to visit?
I know ATS and Kwik-s**t have an idiot proof system in most of their locations now, but it is still only as good as the person using it from...
I've got a friend who needs their interior looking at. There are marks on the seats and they basically want a full interior detail completed. They bought the car and we're promised this would be done by the local Ford dealer but they're less than impressed with what's been done!!
I said I'd see...
It's not impossible to do it well with cans. However it's all about the prep and all about taking your time. Otherwise it will never look anywhere near right.
Have a read of the thread already mentioned above and see if you think it would be something you can do after reading it.....
Not just black. I've used it on an extremely dark blue volvo, very dark green Audi, black. All dark coloured cars will be fine with this one from personal experience
Having spent the best part of today taking pics and listing stuff for the OH I thought I would link it in here.
Few car parts.
Most of it is women's clothing from QVC which her mother buys however, wears once and sells, or as seen doesn't even wear just sells, but she basically gives it all to...
I'm actually quite jealous of this!' I wanted one of these after my 205GTI but decided I needed to spend some time in extremely s**t cars not worth trying to move quickly in order to preserve my license and cars. I'd almost forgotten them though...
I can see me all over ebay tonight now
