I painted mine red but then got the brakes that hot on a track day that the bright red paint melted and turned a really nasty looking shade of red. Ended up spraying them satin black.
Honestly don't know how I would react if that happened. Half of me would be the oh s**t side the other would be the "that focus is ending up in a barrier". Realistically it would be the oh s**t side that I would hope came out because the other side could potentially cause me to end up in jail...
On mine I run a 20mm spacer on the front (although not currently because I snapped the bolts on one of them as they were bolt to hub) and a 10mm stub axle spacer on the back. 1st pic is with the front spacers but no rear spacers.
I had a breakdown when I was competing at croft. Pulled the numbers off and covered everything then drove a couple of miles away (as much as I dared with a dry power steering system) and rang the AA.
Had the bumper off already when they came and said I'd come up to watch as I was thinking of...
I made mine pass last year by spending about 10 minutes hitting the load sensor with a hammer and fastening it all the way up with cable ties. Still cable tied up now actually. I'll hit it with a hammer again when my MOT is due.
Don't suppose anyone on here used to have my 172 Cup?
PE53 WDW.
Originally came from Sunwin Renault in Blackpool, had someone own it for a month and then was part Ex'd to Derby Trade Car Centre where I bought it.
Well this is an annoying one. Went to move my Clio off the drive last night, unlocked it, got in, turned the key and nothing happened. Not the battery as far as I know, everything comes on as it should and the headlights aren't dim at all. Just doesn't even try to start.
Any ideas?
I'll hopefully be coming along in something old, turbocharged and Japanese. Just need to try and get the day off, not overly fussed about running however if I could get on then I obviously would.
Yeah was heading towards Rugeley. Cheers, its a bit of a shed tbh. Apparently thursday was the day of LY 200s, saw one on the way to curborough, my mate's at Curborough, and then yours on the way home lol.
Spotted a few in / near lichfield today, while sat outside at the bowling green I saw 2 172 cups and a 182, on the way to lichfield I saw a LY 200 and then on the way back from lichfield I saw another LY 200 who waved and I waved back to.
Just a quick question. I've got a 172 cup and have ordered a set of 205/45/16 tyres. However I'm also going to be ordering some cooksport springs when they come back into stock. I was wondering, will I need spacers when its lowered so that it doesn't rub and if so what size?
Much appreciated.
