Since the last time I posted in here I've had to have a new synchro on 3rd (done under warranty) a new crankshaft seal and a new rear wheel bearing.

Basically managed to stall it, when I did it made a loud clunking noise and ever since when in neutral there is no resistance when moving the gearstick to the left. Moving it right it feels fine.
Any idea what the problem might be. I'm thinking a linkage has come loose.
Anyone got a rough idea what i'd get for my cup.

Just a quick update. The washer jets now work! When I removed the pump the seal must have come out as well, a trip to Renault and £5.09!!!! later I have working washer jets.

I was wondering, my cup has a shift light on the dash, however having spent plenty of time in a 200 i miss the novelty of an audiable shift warning. Basically I miss the beep.
So i was wondering, is there any way i could rig something up to have the beep in a 172 cup.

Well... Where to begin.
The Dephaser is noisy.
The washer jets don't work at all.
The boot doesn't lock.
The exhaust is knocking.
The exhaust is split just after the center silencer.
The passenger seat is jammed in place (won't slide forwards)
It needs the wheels refurbing.
