When it came down to the monitor it was more to do with what we notice when we are not looking for problems. 120hz is smoother but I feel its something you dont really notice until you point it out to yourself.
I bought a 120hz 1080p BenQ a few years back to try it out (mainly for nVidia 3D)...
We did a lot of swapping and trading of different parts and finally ordered this. Decided to buy windows 7 again as well as a big 3TB HDD and sell off the old one with his previous PC.

Cheers Addicted. Would the i7 be worth it over an over clocked i5?
Ive just had a chat with him there and he will probably transfer over his OS and hard drive (1TB HDD) from the old PC so ill put those savings towards a 27inch IPS panel of some kind.
I have been tasked with helping my mate make up his new PC. He will be using it purely for gaming and maybe screen recording some games i think? I havent been in the market for new PC components since i built mine around a year and a half ago so im out of touch with the latest CPUs and Monitors...
Thats some good work there Sharky :approve:
I have a huge amount of rendering coming up with an animation im creating in Blender and the Cycles render engine. Many sleepless nights lay ahead for me as i only have a few weeks left to have it finished.
Ill post some screens up here as im going...
Cheers man. Pretty much any entry level DSLR you can get those kind of shots with tbh. I think i was using a Sony Alpha a65 there but you can use a Nikon / Canon DSLR etc
@Piers The wheel retrimmed cost £120 with your old wheel as an exchange as far as i remember. Totally worth it.
Cheers lads :)
I noticed some familiar craftsmanship while looking at one of the new Chris Harris Drive videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wl9wGfplgdg
Im just after using the 98Ron map with my RStuner today. There is a noticeable difference in the way it drives now so I would definitely recommend it :race:
I do have a miltec cat back exhaust and ktec style air filter. Im not sure how much of a benefit they would be to the map as opposed to a...
So the battery is in along with the new induction kit. Its working fine so far. Doesnt seem to hesitate on startup or anything.
Going to take it for a drive shortly. Ill be keeping the other battery in the boot just in case.
Im getting a new smaller battery in order to fit my induction kit. My current one is a bit too long. The regular Clio 182 battery is meant to be an 063 but im not sure about the required CCA amperage.
The one i have at the moment has these specs:
075
CCA 570 amps
AH 60 amps
The battery the...
Cheers lads. I think the only thing id change now would be the seats to recaros but that would only be if they popped up for decent price over here.
I got the decals from n2grafix through Ady182 on here.
Having owned the clio for nearly a year now Im finally happy with the interior.
My Snappy steering wheel arrived a few weeks ago and ive just finished spraying the inserts Iceberg silver with new decals
Having done almost everything i originally set out to do with the car im thrilled...
Definitely silver of some kind for the dash strips for me. Just did mine recently with new decals on the steering wheel and gear stick. They've turned out mint :)
7970 is pretty much the top card at the moment and would save the OPs friend a bit of money. Dont get the cheapest noisey/hot reference cooler though unless you get a nice air cooled case.
Having said that though i had 2 of them in crossfire for a few weeks and they did my nut in. Drivers are...
Good game choice :approve:
It really will depend on what graphics card you upgrade to. A gt640 is pretty much an entry level card and wont be able to handle those games well.
Any ideas on what PSU the computer has or what PCIE connections are available from it?
