Personally I think the 8 is the phone to go for. Face ID is yet to be proven so the only real benefit from owning an X is the extra real estate and the OLED screen. The camera bump may also be a plus for some. Is that extra tech worth an extra £30 a month...I'm not so sure

O2 have just called me... no pricing on the X but the 8 (non plus, 256GB) works out to be: £60 up front (- £100 loyalty bonus) £51 per month (5GB data, - £5 loyalty bonus).

I've got a 6 mate, battery is w**k. Yeah, I agree regarding the 8. If I could I'd hold out another 12 months but I'm not sure if that'll be feasible.

I'd hope so. It'll share the same number as your phone so you'll have to transfer the lot to EE if you want to use cellular straight off the bat. Looks like you can't buy a SS watch with leather band either, only separately. So that's £800 all in if you want a basic leather and SS combo.

AW3 cellular is currently only available with EE. Reports of it costing $10 a month in the US, I wouldn't bet against a similar fee in the U.K.

Lovely mate! I've always wondered about matt paint...What do you do if you get a scratch? I presume you can't polish it out like you can with normal paint as you'll be left with a shiny area?

I don't get this 4K b****cks. My top of the range, end of line Panasonic plasma kills most 4K TVs for quality. I certainly won't be buying a 4K tv to replace it anytime soon.
