I think its the price point. I can't see that many people wanting to blow 23k on a Clio. So many cars can be had for 23k (outright or finance).

Its ridiculous when you consider the Hermes watch with that strap is £1199. Base watch in SS (£599) + Hermes strap (£299) = £900 So your paying an additional £500 for Hermes engraving on the back and an electronic Hermes electronic watch face which is nothing more than added software. Apple.

It's probably more to do with the auto gearbox. The 172, 182 even the 197 and 200 (n/a) look/feel far more exciting even if they're slower round a track.
