    Which one did Dan link?

Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI Type S

Nice! Are you attempting the install in the dark? Giving up smoking was the hardest thing I ever did. I still get cravings now, 5 years on. I am partial to the odd vape though but try to limit it to the rare occasions I go out on the tiles.

Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI Type S

You’ll always find stuff to buy/improve. It’s a never ending cycle. Only way I’ll stop is if I buy a brand new car which is perfect...Where’s the fun in that though? I gave up smoking years ago and drink a couple of nights a year so have to spend my money on something.

Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI Type S

I get this. Mine was only ever supposed to be a beater and the S2K the cherished car. Hasn’t turned out that way mind. The S2 has done 40 miles in 20 months and I’ve blown hundreds on replacement parts for a worthless civic. I’ve got issues.

    MarkCup's BMW M140i

Nah, too many about (in general, not manuals) and the badge does it no favours....Awesome car though, I'd love one.

    Resident Evil 2 Remake

I'm really enjoy it. Saying the I love the RE series. If you hate the demo you'll hate the game as its much of the same. Game seems to be be getting rave reviews.

    Ali’s AP1 S2000

That looks broken. Seems like a lot of S2Ks are getting shipped abroad. How much did you get for it?

Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI Type S

Must shift...Probably quicker than a FN2 in 99% of situations. I swapped out my wing mirror indicators yesterday. £100 for the set - rip off.

Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI Type S

Here you go mate. Really easy to fit once the car is jacked up... http://www.tegiwaimports.com/tegiwa-front-rigid-subframe-collars-civic-07-11.html

Honda Civic 2.2 CDTI Type S

Is the clicking/clunk noise not subframe click which plagues the MK8 civic? I bought some subframe collars from Tegiwa.

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

True true. The remaining staining is very light but visible if you know where to look. I doubt a dealer would ever pick up on it though. Regardless, it’s a new car so should be new.
  13. A

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

Ok, update. Honda have not managed to improve the staining. They have gone away to discuss options. Initially they mentioned paint but as Honda bumpers are pre-painted that will be a last resort. Another option would be to keep it with some compensation our way but they haven’t mentioned that...

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

Ouch! Cheers for taking the time to respond mate, appreciate it. What did the owner of the 911 say? The good thing about Honda bumpers is they all come pre-painted so often it’s cheaper to buy new than it is paint. Have you managed to successfully polish it out? Any idea why dealers use this...

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

I know, I can’t believe it. Saying that I’m not stressing about it as they’ll have to put it right. Doesn’t seem to matter which manufacturer you buy from...Audi presented this to my mum when she bought a new car: Audi (unlike Honda) make this big thing of unveiling a car from under a...

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

I think that’s a little extreme. I believe you also have to give the dealers numerous attempts at putting things right. I think worst case they swap the bumpers for new ones.

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

Potentially mate lol. I can’t imagine this is the first time. What a crazy mistake to make though. I’m not too keen on them spraying a new car.

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

You may be expect minor swirling or missed bits but you don’t expect them to f**k up a brand new car by applying s**t tyre dressing LOL.
  19. A

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

Yep, so far. In fairness I’m not sure how they could deny it as the car has only done 300 miles and the stuff is splashed up every wheel arch lol. No idea what they’ll do to rectify it though. Swap out bumpers on a new car?

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

    WTF lol?
  21. A

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

Yep! Apparently they’ve thrown whatever it was away. Interestingly though it was relatively easy to remove of the metal work with basic shampoo. The plastic on the other hand...Touch the tyre with your palm then touch the bumper paintwork and you need something as strong as Tardis to remove it...

    Dealer Tyre Dressing

Yo! I did post this on Detailing World but thought I’d post on here in case anyone has come across anything like this before. To cut a long story short the wife picked up her new white Civic on the Jan 3rd. I went to wash it last Saturday and whatever the dealer used as tyre dressing has...

    Ring Doorbell

If you want to use it for surveillance then you have to pay 2.50 a month for one device. The recordings are stored in the cloud for 30days. You can use it for live watch and answering the bell for free.
  25. A

    Ring Doorbell

Nah, I’m no electrician though. If you’ve already got a door bell in situ you can just use the existing connection. It’s big but all depends if you have the room for it. The pro looks to be a similar size to a normal door bell. I think I’m going invest in an Arlo cam system instead. You’ll...

    Ring Doorbell

Ring 2 has a detachable battery (meaning you can buy extras and keep them charged ready to swap over), Ring 1 has to be removed in full from the wall using the included special screw driver as the battery isn’t removable. Obviously this is a mute point of you plan on hard wiring it. Saying that...

    Ring Doorbell

Yes but has to be hard wired. Same as the nest.

    Ring Doorbell

Out of interest mate, can you answer the door bell on multiple devices or are you limited to one device/user id? Say yours and your wife’s mobile? What happens if you answer at the same time lol?

    Ring Doorbell

I think Ring offer a free replacement but can’t imagine it’s easy to claim. If you pay for ring protect (£2.50 a month) you get 30 days worth of video storage (it’s got motion detection) so you’ll catch the offender in action. A friend made a valid point, if you answer remotely it kind of...

    Ring Doorbell

Wife bought mine from amazon...£150. I’ve just sent it back though. The Fact it’s so bulky with nowhere to fix it (other than the door) and the poor battery life (no existing door bell to hard wire it too) put me off. Will wait for something with a smaller form factor. Otherwise a good product.
