Cheers for taking the time to respond. It’s much appreciated.
Mine (if I decide to keep it) will be 4m from the router (located under the stairs) so even though I’m in the middle of nowhere and fiber speed is slow (10mbps) general signal strength should be good).
Problem I have is mounting it...
Has anyone got one of these? Bought as a gift but online reviews are mixed (poor battery life, response to phone etc).
At £150 it’s not cheap, I’m considering returning it.
The doorbell in question.

Mine was the same, until I took it to Center Gravity for a full setup. Amazing how many cars they classed as dangerous straight from the production line. No two cars were ever the same.
I drove a 02. The vtec engagement was so much more prominent. I think they tried to smooth out the power...
All relative really as it depends on how good of a driver you are. The early ones much more so than the later versions (Honda made numerous revisions over the years). I’ve only span mine once and that was in a couple of cm of snow. But yes, it can be very snappy. Wide rear tyres and a short...
Yep! That’s the beauty of it. Same as my old Fiesta ZS. Interestingly though, turn the TC off and it will spin up relatively easy. Just goes to show how effective systems of today must be.
The S2000 isn’t quick either in truth, not in today’s standards. It’s got enough power to bite you in the...
Yes! They can be hard work, especially this time of year. They also rot like crazy.
That’s why I bought my CTR FN2. It has its faults and the ride is a lot more compromised than in the S2000 (believe it or not) but it’s spacious, cheap, looks decent, well spec’d and a hoot to drive. Point to...
My S2000 is epic. So easy to push the back out, may be a little too easy in damp conditions.
FWD can still be great fun though and is the safer option for most. My Mrs 2L 1 seres was terrible in the snow.
A 200bhp civic is just as quick as a 200bhp boosted car with 30% more torque (due to the gearing and peak power) so why is a 500bhp vtec any different to 500bhp boosted car? Surely the same rules apply?
Forget in gear but from a standing start or @ peak my Civic FN2 CTR (with a measly 193Nm / 142 ft-lb) was easily as fast, if not faster than my Mk1 LCR with 280 Nm / 206 ft-lb.
Love your updates and your videos Mark! Keep them coming.
Out of interest if you don’t have the issues with the RS which would you prefer and by what sort of a margin?
I once owned an old 206 banger which I bought off a mate. It ended up getting rear ended and subsequently written off. My insurance company valued it surprisingly low, when asked why they told me it had been written off twice previously lol.
I can’t help but agree with this. It’s like owning a Master System during the Megadrive days lol.
I’d love one though, 5 door though to justify not getting the M2.
Mark - given the choice (taking reliability out of the question) which is the more enjoyable, better car?
Ok cool, so what you’re basically saying is a visible scratch on matt would be the equivalent of a scratch which has penetrated the clear coat on a lacquered/gloss car?
Not swirls, general wear and tear scratches that haven’t broken the clear coat. The kind that you can easily see but can be polished out using G3 compound. Even if they can’t be polished out completely they can be reduced to such an extent that they’re pretty much invisible to the naked eye...
