It has been driven more than ever Tom don't worry about that, can't get enough of the overun ;)
I had no suspicions of a problem as it drives great, just the bloke at Surry RR day seemed to know what he was doing and told me to look into it.
Yea sorry about the missing axis data, only picture i had at work.
There seems to be somthing wrong though as in the first couple of runs it hit 169, then 172, then 168, he then finally got 175. Thats why he said it was very inconsistent and thinks something is wrong.
Right,
My 182 has panel filter, full decat back KTR exhaust, and JMS remap.
It pulls very nicely at low revs and feels smooth right through the gears,
I had it on the rollers recently and it is not making as much power at the top end as i was hoping.
The guy testing it said it was very...
Seems like a lot of different opinions,
Do you think the OEM mounts are fine for some abuse at the pod?
My car only has 25k on the clock and the OEM mounts seem fine
I am planning on doing some track days this year, Brands + Nurburgring and maybe others depending on finances.
I am also going to do a RWYB day at Santa Pod
I'm interested on peoples opionions on whether or not I should uprate the engine and gearbox mounts in time for this?
I have read all...
Shop around and adding parents as additional drivers, i found i get better prices phoning rather than using comparison sites too.
You can't compare what other people are paying as they have different post codes, driving histories etc so add up to a different type of risk to your self.
good...
Best of ordering one from the web mate,
Check the KTEC website for KTEC/Janspeed cat backs
There is also a Yozza in the for sale section which is by opinion the best exhaust about for the 182.
The get a local garage to fit it if you can't do yourself.
Yea if your looking for massive performance increase then a remap is not what your after, and its' gonna cost serious cash to get any decent performance increase out of an F4R.
It's not about the power increase though, £180 to make the power delivery so much smoother, can't think of many mods that are better value for money.
Combined with a decat is well worth it.
The JMS map definately smoothed out the power and made it pull harder lower in the revs, the 5k kick is not as noticeable it just pulls all the way through the rev range now rather than waiting untill 5k then getting a big surge.
Also have the overun feature and the pops and bangs alone was...
Re: SOUTH EAST - 15th December @ The Wharf Dartford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm 50/50 on making this now, just been asked to work lates this week so have to wait and see if i can get out early enough Wed to make it.
I fitted mine on axel stands and was easy to get it sitting flush as I replaced the rear exhaust hangers too.
Getting the old one off is the hardest bit!
I have the supersport, but with decat.
IMO If you want it louder than standard go for supersport, if your just looking to replace the old rusty one thats probably falling off and want as close to standard then go for the silenced version.
Re: SOUTH EAST - 15th December @ The Wharf Dartford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll come to this one, couldn't make it last time and heard it was a good turn out!
