Yep & I really like the 105/205 combo, infact i love 205 for an all rounder really. Currently using scholl compounds but that was only because i had free samples from waxstock last year and got me hooked on them
Agreed, also machine dependant on what combo your going to use with how much heat your generating.
I'd still start off using a softer than expected compound to see what results you get. Nothing worse than a strike through patch starring you in the face however unlikely it may seem!
Any "shed" can be made to look a decent motor with a good clean :)
Use a tar remover before clay ( and fallout remover) therefore your clay is only taking tiny tar spots your remover has missed along with tree sap and general crud bonded to the car!

I seriously doubt your car will need an Orange pad unless it has been resprayed!

Tbh it's all in the prep and not what products and how much you spend on products!
Tar removal fallout removal and tree sap etc with clay bar/mitt after a good prewash will give you a good base to start protecting assuming you haven't marred the paint badly whilst claying

Sent a sample of Obsession Wax | Bead Edition to sample and make a short video displaying it's water behavior. Please also bear in mind this was on a non-deconn'd 207, so I'm sure there would be an increase in structure with tar, fallout removal and claying process carried out.
