Where i work has a carpark in view & i see this happen too often.
Huge carpark, loads of empty spaces yet some people will always park, reverse in, drive in to one thats next to another car and not one of the easy empty ones.
The self cancel is a different thing (I think) but this issue would cause the traction light and 'serv' to come on saying your traction control is off and it can't be turned back on until the problem is sorted.
Just had a quick browse and I've spotted you can get transfer apps to do it through wifi to your pc, I've not got a pc to have a properly look if you can save full albums but it lists the album on the page.. I only have the phone I'm testing it on so it doesn't work correctly.
There are a few...
From what I've noticed it keeps them once you have deleted them from the camera roll it has stayed in the shared album. The other small benefit of it going in a shared album is if you have photostream options installed on your pc you can see the album on the pc and do what you like with it...
The easiest way is to create a shared album and share it with yourself, then just tap every photo in the album and add it to the shared album, this will then appear on your shared albums sections on your iPad (assuming they're both turned on to have shared albums in the settings)
I've also found that the clio sockets arn't the best at fitting and sometimes giving it a wiggle or the plug twisted in a certain position makes contact. My last clio was bad for this but my current one is alright most of the time.
So to update this. I got my car back end of last week. Aux/Cambelt replaced as timing had moved and the socket nicely took out of my engine. The car runs fine now and i'm just happy to get it back so huge thanks to Mick for getting it all sorted for me. Only thing that was upsetting is that...
That above cable will keep your stalk controls working with your new unit. The display will show the temperature and time even if there is no HU installed at all.
Like you've linked to, if you do get any make sure their the 5.8 ones and not 2.4. You'll have a much better chance of a decent signal that way with no interference from wifi.
Personally id either run a Coax cable all the way there if you could, that way the remote will work and the picture is...
Not sure what a solution is, but if it's a soilid red light it's not your immobiliser. Don't keep trying to crank your car over, if the light doesn't go off when at position 2 it's not going to start even if it cranks a couple of times sounding like it will.
Ive had had this a couple if times...
Depends. Are you keeping the speakers that are there with that connection? What did they used to plug into and why can't you use that?
If they're normal speakers with a twin cable with the connection pictures above it's probably possible to chop the connector off and use bare cable into an amp...
Have a search there are plenty of threads with similar symptoms. A solid red light is not the key, it's recognised the key and it's something else not registering properly (I can't remember). Check your earth straps, including the one to the gearbox.
Oh dear :(,
Not been under the bonnet properly since the engine mount change and we used a socket set we still have all the bits for, only makes me wonder if it's been there resting a very long time from when the cowboys did my gearbox. The same people (who I originally got the car off Jan...
Thanks for the reply Mick its really appreciated. I was going to call yesterday but when that thought popped into my head it was 2.30 and I saw on your site you were closed so thought i would leave it until Monday morning.
I've taken out RAC cover where they will take me where I like so I can...
