Same here. One day was supposed to be 'Wet weather driving'...but it didn't rain. So we just drove around and talked about rain. ​The motorway day was worth it though. Disgraceful that it isn't covered in a normal driving test really.

It only triggers a discount for your first years insurance anyway. I did my pass plus while I had already got a policy. I rang up the following year and got told it wouldn't make a difference seen as I'd already had a policy. Bit of a joke really.

It's worth it just for the driving experience in my opinion mate. No idea on the insurance front though.

You know what - my girlfriends dad used to run a fibreglass factory. If he could mould a fibre splitter would anybody be interested? And what price would you pay? Ill see him tomorrow so can see what he could do.

A few bits sorted today. A new brake switch to clear a fault picked up by RS Tuning. New boot struts to allow me to open AND close the boot. And new rear seats are in. They make the car look ten times cleaner. Love them. Old ones out The cat approves And they're in Off to get the...

I've currently got a cracked carbon fibre ktec splitter on. Can't decide whether to leave it, replace it with a Skoda or bite the bullet and get a new ktec at about £90. ​That last option is just ridiculous though.

Potentially dumb question: can you have both ITB's and a turbo? Has it been done? I'd surmise that putting ITB's on a turbo-charged car would be relatively pointless - but has anyone had ITB's and then gone a step further and banged in a turbo?

I changed my winter tyres a few weeks too early and had my P Zeros on in the snow. They were f**king useless. A great tyre but I couldn't run them all year in my neck of the woods.
