Is there any Ph1 owner who has the rear of the car as their avatar?
The fronts are absolutely glorious...but the rear is just so dated and drab.
197's from the front, and in the flesh, are also lovely. Photos rarely do them justice.
They all have their charms, as stated, but I think it's...
No idea what an SE is, but you wont go too far wrong with a Focus. I had two and loved them both. One fell to pieces, the other burst into flames on my driveway.
Other than that - good cars.
If you get a well looked after 182 then it's a reliable car. Many have had clutches, belts, suspension etc done pretty recently and most other problems are just what you get with any car...any French car anyway.
I would certainly go from a 200 to a MK2.
Not the best comparison perhaps...but...
The struts have gone back to SGS, for a second time, to be checked over.
Spoke to them today and they pretty much accused me of lying. He argued that if they are the right pressure then they should surely work. I agreed, but said they still do not work. God knows why they can't just send me...
I'd say Pirellis too.
I wouldn't have thought there'd be much difference in wear between the 195 and 205. I've got 195's and they look fine in my opinion. Up to you I guess mate, 205's are probably a tad more expensive.
Stick with your original wheels, they look perfect (I imagine).
If your bumpers already been cut then fair play. I'd get a 182 style exhaust.
The way you toss and turn over Turinis, that's how I feel over Flamers and Monacos. Easily the best RS colours...but I change my mind every week as...
I swapped my 80k 172 for a 50k Trophy. Both great cars but as much as I love the Trophy, I regret selling my perfectly good 172 for £1700. Please, please, please do not put a 182 exhaust on your flamer. Clearly it's your choice...but I became infatuated by the 182 exhaust when I had my 172. Now...
Sound weird, but semen is actually a natural cleaning agent that works great on glass surfaces. Apply with a fleshy rod in soft circular motions for a streak-free finish.
