'To me and my brother the tread depth on them were pretty decent!'
'Now the tread depth seems alright (I personally think they need changing lol)'
I don't know how anyone is supposed to help you mate. They are either ok or they're not. Look at them and make your mind up.
There's something not right about a guy who joins a car forum and 4 months later has bashed out 1500 comments and bought 3 very similar vehicles.
It's like he's going to extreme levels to fit in or something.
Hard to believe, but this one still hasn't been resolved.
Quick question - which way round do the struts go in your car? Is it the thin end or thick end that attaches to the boot?
If you got a non-Cup for around £1700 (which I sold my near minter for including 4 Turinis & standards wheels) and maybe lowered it a bit, I really think you have the best of both worlds. The speed difference between Cup & non-Cup is negligible. And the interior is certainly in the standard cars...
The front of a ph-1 is glorious. The rear is a real let down. They are also pretty grim inside. Cups come in possibly be best colour going. I think I'd have to go for that. Or what about an absolutely mint non-cup? They always get overlooked. Loved mine to bits and the interior is great for a...
Mazda 3 MPS (old shape)
Megane R26
Focus ST
Those are the cars that give me sleepless nights. I crave them but know that I wouldn't have as much fun as I do in the 182.
In fact - maybe get a Trophy if you haven't already had one?
Theres no difference in 'body kit' really. Interior is all the same too - assuming you go the alacantra (sp?) route. The rear bumper on 182's is shaped to fit the twin exhausts so that would look a bit daft. Search for some replicas on here mate, you'll find all the info you need.
'Hello.. I'm Dave a bodybuilder from kent'
What an opening line! You sure you're on the right forum?
Oh, and I'm Phil. I like cooking, long walks and sucking off men in public bogs.
Yeah the BMW ones are designed for the bonnet.
Ill ring the guy tomorrow and get it sorted. They are been really good about it to be fair. It's just a series of unfortunate events. I'll keep you posted!
I got the BMW ones and they don't fit right at all. They are the right size but the two sides to the struts are different. One side clips in fine. The other is a metal end which doesn't fit at all right.
So I've ordered the ones specifically for the Trophy. They fit perfectly, but they don't...
Right, I can't believe the problems I'm having with these bloody struts! Can someone please look on their original Trophy struts and tell me what pressure it says on the side. They should have 340 newtons in them but can somebody please confirm this.
Absolutely agree. This is crackers. Get her on a bike and out in the garden. The last thing a kid needs is to be sat in a vegetative state glued to a ruddy screen.
The future is bleak.
