as said. if u tell them your number plate they would be able to see if it got taken in or not. if not then they will do it for free. if i had heard about it then i would have taken the car in. but never knew. aparently it was on watchdog and everything

£1500 a year on a 1.2! christ. i only paid £1000 a year on a 1.2 when i passed my test at 17, and that was on my own insurence 3rd party fire and theft. im 25 now and only pay £450 a year on my 172 fully comp :)

On my 172 when u press the key to lock it, it locks all doors but drivers. Took me 2 weeks to notice this. Luckly nothing happened to mine. Maybe ur misses car is doing the same?

Its at high revs, not on corners and sounds like its coning from the drivers side of the engine...Im guessing maybe timing kit. I know it's had belts changed. But seen no reciepts for kit. How much are they? Fitted?

As title says. I've been told all of them do it. My mate used to have a 1.8 16v mk1 and that done it aswel. I'm a worrier tho lol would like confirmation that's there's nothing wrong.... It's had belts etc changed a couple months ago. Car is a mk 2 phase 2 172 Cheers much

Lol I had an Sri nova. Clean as f**k, one old lady owner from new. She virtually only used it to drive down the shop everyday. Was J reg and had 30k on clock when I got it in 2005. Long story short, had it a year, rolled it down a hill. Will put pics up on this post when I'm on my laptop next lol

ok, so the mpg on my trip computer constantly reads 31mpg. no matter what speed etc. also the outside temp gauge is silly high. apperently its 41 degrees C outside tonight lol anyone know the problem? and whether its gonna be a b**ch to fix? cos not too worried. but obviously would like it...

But why does it have to be booked in for a cambelt In July that's what I don't get. If I had the cambelt done and never drove the car for a couple years, would I have to have the cambelt done again? Probably not.... I'm pretty sure it goes on miles. Look it up.

Cambelt would go by miles mate. Not time. I would have thought anyway. I thought it was about every 35k. Could be wrong tho. Don't get the mot bit tho.... I know from new u don't have it mot'd for the first 3 years.

I used to have a vtr saxo. And it leaked through the interior light. And that was through the ariel. Pissed me off so much one day I just ripped off the ariel and stuck a bit of duct tape over the hole lol sorted it. Car was s**t anyway lol

He seems rather keen dropping the price so much. 1300 less than what the original askin price was :s sure there ain't nothin wrong with it? Seems strange is all. Couple hundred maybe, but knocking over a grand off..... I'd be a bit suspicious
