Im currently detailing my R27 and i was just tryin to take my number plates off but i have a problem. My plates seem to be put on with some studs of some sort, i thought it was screws until i popped the caps off and it has like a hole in the centre around 1mm??
Hey, i bought a clio 197 R27 a few month back, and i havn't had a chance to properly open it up in the backroads to see what shes like in the twists!
I don't use my car every day and when i do use it i only use it a few miles and not worth opening her up, so i was thinking about getting some...
The 197 and VXR use the same Recaro seats but the VXR ones have leather on them the 197's dont!
Thats why theres so many problems with them splitting open on the sides... etc
Im nae bad, how you liken the clio?
Big change from the 106?
Johnny Fraser used to drive a gold pug 306 diesel, now got a leon cupra.
It was up at duthie park some night.
Anybody know if theres any meets soon? i red about a few but cant find them on the forums any more.
I bought my car about a month ago, and bloody hell they are disgusting! :(
Just wasnt sure what to clean them with, got this Amberclens stuff at work, its a waterbased foam, so was considering that?
Also there are some marks on the roof would the AG interior shampoo or megs APC take that out?
Yeah happy days! I havnt put the R27 through its paces yet, i havnt even properly opened her up and iv had her a month!
I was up Banchory on Saturday, amazing road to play on!
Whoah! You will know all the roads then! ;) You been on the road from the Peterhead bypass and you come out beside the old Hatton bends? Its named the viking road? its amazingly twisty!
All other comments, thanks ;) am very happy with the upgrade!
RussZS thanks for the links, those lights...

Jasey you been on any other roads around here?
Thanks for all the comments!
I have a few plans for the R27
I didnt think i would ever say this but i kind of miss my Campus Sport...?
The RS2000 is mental clean.
Hey thanks for all the comments!
Totally love the R27, I know about the headlights and i need to change the indicator bulbs, hate the fried egg look!
Also the RS2000 is clean! its just hit 100k on the clock and has just got a brand new engine put into it with over 200bhp. So it flies a little!
Finally after deciding what i wanted to get, between a brand new clio 200 an F1 edition or a LY 182 or a RB 182 (if i could find one) I finally decided to purchase a Deep Black R27.
Apart from not having upgraded lights or electric mirrors its got all the extras!
Here was the old car i...
The 1.2's are insurance group 2E i know that!
I jumped from my 1.2 to a 197 R27 and only cost a extra £110 on insurance with still 11 months remaining on my policy!
Only 20 years old too!
Sorry went a bit off-topic.
Yes i did, and i hate to say it because i have a passionate hate for Vauxhalls :(
But it all depends on how you drive the car i suppose..
But also i ment that the corsa has less body roll sorry.
Liambo.
My experience in my old Clio was that the clio was faster in the 1st 2nd and part of 3rd but after that the Corsa wins, and also is better in the corners, unless you learn to use the bodyroll the Clio has... lol
They are quick enough little cars for a small engine.
Regret selling mines...
My dad seems to always tell me what stuff to use and how to get certain things off, and its always good advice! He loves detailing his cars. So i guess im kinda lucky!
