Apart from Cydia issues, like everyone else and they're now cured, I've not had a glitch. Really impressed with evasi0n. Especially having now read how complex the process is.
Yup. Not surprised with millions of users all hitting the servers at the same time.
evad3rs apparently moved 4.5Tb of data in the first hour of release, using box.net.
Would do, but Cydia is fucked from the load; I can't even access the login screen to see if my account is still active or install anything. I'll check in a bit when it's all calmed down.
Also don't forget that the IT market is massively over saturated. Like blburied says everyone with a PC is an expert, so you really need to be able to offer something - which is where word of mouth comes in. Take Daniel for example, he's a fat ginger car salesman that sounds like a farmer...
Insurance, if you've not got that don't bother. There's money to be made from morons out there but you'll need to get a name for yourself doing it - word of mouth and a good website - and don't expect to see profit for the first couple of years.
No clue, if I'm honest I've paid no real attention to any of the speculation surrounding next gen consoles. I've got an iMac for all my proper computing/p**n browsing and I stream all my media from my NAS to my 360. I'd not be surprised if they went for the home media user, makes sense in...
A lot of people won't store anything on a server in the states anymore, due to the US government having full access to anything stored there and their stupid domain seizure policy; so I'm not surprised Kim has gone down this route...plus he's rubbing it in their face that they made a mess of it...
Prefer the YouTube app personally, TubeBox has always felt like there were extra pointless steps just to watch a video, although I made do with it until Google got the official app back out.
I've said it before, I like to have a physical backup (that's also backup again over RAID) rather than dump everything in the cloud that I have no control over. Mine backsup and syncs every night over wifi when I put it on charge.
