Your knowledge is endless Dan :) I will get you to do that
Thanks Sonny, I am so happy with the weight.
Cheers Lewis! It did take a while. Will let you know when I've booked it's first track day and see if your free to catch up. I am also looking at replacing my 182 with a mk1 FRS
So chuffed with it Dan. Ran it gently for a little while, seemed fine so ran 4 times along the runway to approx 135-140ish and temps sat at 88 water and 91 oil.
Will keep you posted on my first track day and of course, bring your helmet ;)
I will keep you posted cheers
The induction length IMO plays a big part. On my 182 I saw 10.9bhp and 14ft lbs torque over the standard air box measured on the same dyno. Although different engine mods will react differently of course. This engine has different cams so whether it saw as much as...
Engine spec is pretty basic relatively:
-CatCam 438's
-Ported and matched inlets
-182 manifold and Orbisoud cup racer exhaust with no cat
-ARP rod bolts
-Long induction pipe with ITB Maxogen filter
-No pas or air con
204bhp and 165ft lbs torque
Wow
Massive thanks to Dan and Moo. You have done a superb job!
I also weighed the car. With 2 seats in, and 15 litres of fuel it tips the scales at 840kgs. Over the moon as I was aiming for 850kgs and there are still a few bits I can do in the near future to bring that weight down further...
Lol thanks Dan
Here are 2 recent pics of it. Still not cleaned nor finished

I ran on the same rollers with an ITG panel in a standard air box and then with a copied K&N typhoon setup and made 10.9bhp and 14ft lbs of torque. Trusted rollers too, and yes I couldn't believe the results either when everyone says that there isn't much room for improvement over standard
Have a safe journey boys :)
I will start packing tomorrow evening because I have other "commitments" tonight that take priority in certain departments ;)
Will see you over there Friday afternoon
So my Nurburgring trip is looking...
-No track car to take, 182 will suffice
-No prep done
-Possible fractured rib
-Whiplash
-Tonsillitis
-Sciatic nerve problems
-The list goes on...
But I am still coming! That's dedication ;)
Will still be coming yes. It needs local testing first because the last thing I want is to be sorting out recovery from another country through teething problems. It will show it's face at CSS
So excited to hear that news Dan, I have an ear to ear grin! Hopefully that's my super duper billet flywheel that is giving that kind of throttle response
