I was really surprised to see only a very small handful of K1's at edition 38 today. Makes me glad it's a little more exclusive :)
Thanks for the kind comments chaps
I think the interior is a very half arsed effort. Very bland and cheap plastics. However, I knew this when I was looking because for me it was between a Golf Edition 30 or a K1 both in candy white. The Golf had the nice interior but a slightly bland exterior and the K1 the opposite. I am however...
So after just over 2 years with my 182 (currently for sale) I decided I would like a candy white Cupra K1. Finding a good one was arduous but weeks of looking was paid off to find this one.

Sorry Dan didn't see your post!
The 172 is very close to completion. I have booked a trackday at Woodbridge next Saturday 7th.
The 182 is for sale as I would like a Leon Cupra K1. Will miss that car, been the best thing I have ever bought tbf! Cheap fun there

Still got heavy OZ F1's on, steel doors, tailgate and standard rear glass. This will all be replace in the future to aim for 820kgs.
You can't, that's why I asked if it was cup packed.
Doesn't matter so much about second hand Sachs. They are fully rebuildable so can be as fresh as they rolled out of the factory
For this year it will be just track days but once the car is properly dialed in and a few other mods are done, next year I would like to compete in a couple of hillclimbs
Thanks chaps, appreciated :)
Haven't done this job yet Tony but it's a nice easy job. As the bonnet lifts off I will rivet a piece of black perspex to the back that is cut to follow the windscreen. Will put some louvres in it too because even that little test proved how much heat that gap was...
