Did you find that when stationary with the engine on, if you turn the wheel from left to right you can feel a knocking down in the foot well as if its taking up the play etc
Ive seen KAM have some ones for £20 but they need the standard mounts enlarging (that doesnt bother me) but is there any real difference between these and a set that are £55 plus! Its a braided hose at the end of the day and im sure they have to go through certain pressure tests to be aproved...
iirc, you can knock shape back into them with a large hammer but the more you knock/hammer the metal the harder and more brittle it becomes so sometimes you can end up cracking it just trying to get it back into shape.
I honestly cant understand how you guys are getting more than 15k out of a set of fronts!? Do you drive motorways all the time and not drive hard at all, Honestly, I cant see how thats possible. I had my fronts fitted 3000 miles ago and they are already half worn.
Yeah on the track :) I'll need some new pads, lines and a set of 15's as im not too keen on destroying my £110 a corner PE2's! other than that i'll be good to go.
When stationary with the engine running and I turn the wheel slightly from left to right I can feel down near my feet a knock as if there is slight play in the steering. (feels very much like a worn joint in a mk1 clio) Has anyone had this issue or even noticed it!?
I have also noticed when...
