Ive recently increased my front tyre pressures to 34 cold, makes a massive differnce to handling, more precise turn in and just as much grip if not more than 32. 32 feels 'wobbly'
Re: Mk1 Hybrid rebuild
Bit of an update, no pics sadly
All the brake lines are connected up, 1.2 heat shield on which looks a million times better than the 16v one! Also because danny has got rid of the heater matrix hes running a 1.2 header tank and one of the outlets on the head has been...
If its your rack, with the engine on stood still lightly move the wheel from left to right 1/4 of a turn, if you feel a small clunking through your feet the rack bushes are worn and this may be part of the problem... maybe...

Is that correct?
I have not signed or taken out the policy yet.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid rebuild
Not sure tbh, 2 weeks, It can be done!
Things I think need doing
fitting the seats but I think one of the frames is slightly bent
Brake lines to the rear need connecting
O/S brake pipe needs making up (master to braided hose section)
door looms fitting and...
Whats the set up like on the road tho, its all very well and good it being good on track but if you venture onto track 3/4 times a year is it really worth it!? I find the car quite stiff as it is on the standard set up. I think any stiffer and it will compromise the handling on your average B...
