Exhaust Fitted
Orite guys, got a custom exhaust fitted today, very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend the chap that did it, details at the end of this post.
I went for straight through from the cat, the pipe is one piece up to the backbox, the tip I went for is 2.5inch...
I am getting an exhaust fitted tomorrow, but I haven't seen a Phase 1 with an exhaust recessed into the bumper (probably have but not taken notice before lol)
Would like to see some pics of peoples recessed exhausts preferably single exit as that is what I am getting and want to make sure I am...
I have a phase 1 172, has anyone got an exhaust cut into their bumper and added an exhaust trim off a 182? Is this possible with a phase 1 rear bumper?
If so pics would be appreciated
cheers :)
Just an update, car passed it's MOT yesterday, straight through without any advisories, chuffed to say the least :)
With this in mind, I am on the lookout for an exhaust and a group N exhaust is what I fancy, any suggestions?
I'm thinking custom as the Oreca on K-tec for example is a little...
It does it when I haven't used the handbrake mate, for example at lights and I haven't needed to use the handbrake it still makes the noise :( hopefully it's something as simple as that though haha
Cheers mate I will have a good look when I get chance, I re-greased the CV joint on my saxo I...
Could be mate, I'm not off work till tuesday which is the day my MOT is, absolute piss take lol
Might get some time tonight for a look, if it is a mount it's a good excuse for some nice upgrades ;)
Only started recently, but sometimes when I move off from traffic lights etc I get a loud "clunk" and the car jerks a bit, not had a look under my car yet, anything obvious I should look out for?
cheers
Re: FINALLY - Top mount moddified part from Renault!
Fingers crossed this works as hopefully it would sort the noise my car makes, so fooking annoying! :rasp:
Just a quick question and probably a stupid one but my MOT is due at the end of this month, my airbag and serv light are on at the moment, would this cause me any issues or would an MOT not flag it up?
cheers
Orite chris mate, car is looking great just a shame about the problems you have had! I will have to have a cheeky look when I come to you for a detailing session ;)
Jonesy
As the title. Just an example.. Basically went for a drive yesterday, as I got near mine popped to the shop quickly, came out and obviously the car was still nice and warm, went to start it and it took about 4 seconds of turning over for it to start. Now I know this isn't the end of the world as...
My car did this, basically messing with the wires when installing a new head-unit and some metal on a connection must of touched the metal case for the head-unit and it blown a fuse somewhere. After getting p*ssed off and not finding it I called an auto electrician who found the fuse within 10...
Quick update, fitted my ITG panel filter yesterday with the help of JAM, was a bit of a b*****d getting the air filter open but eventually sorted it after plenty of swearing ;)
Have to say I haven't noticed any difference but at least it saves on buying a filter again :)
Looking good mate! I am proud to say I've sat in those seats, on many occasions haha
We need a cleaning session for sure when the weathers better mate
