Lol. When I get home and on my pc, il be able to post the quotes better..
The last 1 it's all there. An f4r with decat n exhaust will run 175 BHP. Lol. Meaning at least a 10 BHP gain over the standard exhaust and cat on a GOOD f4r pushing 165. Which most don't. Lol
But here you were on about having to change the flywheel. Nothing else
Sayin you had to change the flywheel to run dizzy less ignition. Where in reality you don't
And here you were on about the f4. 10+ bhp from exhaust and decat. It's all there. Read it lol
Above you said you need to change the flywheel to a meg to run a coilpack. This is wrong. You try to get away from that fact. The trigger wheel does away with the need for this. And yes I ran a coilpack and distrubuterless ignition. I never said anywhere that you didn't need to move away from...
Lol. My Williams ran on bodies, with stand alone ecu. It wasn't the 1st, and won't be the last. It DIDN'T have a none std flywheel on it. So again, you are wrong in that respect. It ran a trigger wheel . Simple as. I await your dismissal of this method. Yaaaaawwwn
because most of the cams are ranged in duration. lift/ramp are usually around about the same from diff suppliers, give or take a few thou lift. which is neither here nor there really. some 260 cams will actually be around 258 degs some are 260 , and likewise some are a couple thou more lift...
yes the car was bought with it on..but it has lasted ME 5 months. the exhaust is circa 12 months old, warranty invalid due to change of ownership. if you read the post correctly in the 1st place rather than trying to read between the lines and spouting s**t sticking up for your mates...
my powerflow has lasted me 10 years.my ktec...errr....less than 5 months....take from that what you will.
but then the powerflow was fitted in burnley. which is about the best outlet in the country it seems. pretty much all the old skool quick cars ran them, and from the same outlet...
yes any conversion can be bodged. but any simpletone can swap an engine. the ecu doesnt even need to be changed for the f7p/r conversion to see a gain in power.
so because they have the same bore/stroke, the driving characteristics are very similar?? i think not.....in fact i fukkin know not...
Hmmm the f4 powered valvers are renowned for being unreliable.
As I said if you read my post properly. The 2 engines, when in comparable state of tune I.e. 260 deg cams in each. The f7 will outperform the f4 every day of the week, and will be a nicer drove to boot.
I think most people would...
gotta agree with stromba on this 1 im afraid.
in similar spec, i.e 260 ish deg cams etc. the f7r with outperform the f4r every day of the week.
my williams es are a far better drive, enginewise, than my trophy. low down torque where you want it. the f4r needs it nads ringing to get the best...
yb racing id just round the corner from me. i bought mine direct from scorpion, but yb being the main supplier?? i didnt have the postage fee as i collected it. quite a few fancy bits n pieces in there ;) . wherever you get it its worth the money over a ktec system an y day of the week
not a trophy is it??? i saw 1 parked just off park lane the other day, had a private plate on but didnt get the plate tbh. lol.
and morrisons in failsworth....had a guy run iinto me there today, pushed me out my parking space into the 1 behind me. old guy hit the acc instead of the brake ...
nice bike. my mates just sold his 999 and 1098 thing...im not that big on bikes as you can probs tell....hes just bought a bmw 1000? rr thing. he reckons it beats the s**t out of his dukes...he had a swap with his mates rsv4 thing at weekend, says his mate was well pissed off he bought that...
Unfortunately the Williams doesnt command that kind of money. Fortunately for me,, the Williams isvinbthe garage whilst the trophy takers up room on the drive
As above really. Big bills if the belts etc not been done. No. 0425 was sold recently this is a show winning car that's had a fortune spent on rebuilding. 6k that. For a willy 1. With this being a lowly 3 albeit original if it is?? I'd say its around same figure. An original unpainted example...
