I went to view a Monaco 172 few months back, as soon as you looked at the rear end the bumper was sagging beneath the rear lights. Opened the boot and the boot lid still had creases in it. Lifted the carpet, and the boot floor was crushed in... 'oh, i didnt know' he said See ya!

I paid £800 for a 52 Extreme with 48k on it, had a front end bump but no airbag damage. Put £300 into it inc MOT and sold it for £2k no worries so id say go for it. Plus, if you buy it then realise its more hassle, ebay it and you'll make a killing, put non runer or spares/repairs and people...

Why dont they just try turn it over by hand? Or, someone go to view it and do that, then even thou it does turn over by hand (so not seized), breath in through teeth and say 'oooo, engines knackered, ill give you £6k tops'
