I certainly didn't, although in 2 years..there's going to be some bargains to be had! I cant see a 2 year old ST with 30k on the clocks being worth fack all at this rate
I know what you mean, although they may find what's failed and deem that as the causable part, not what has led to that component failing etc.. I would imagine it would vary from dealer to dealer in terms of how much digging and/or if a technician feels he can actually be bothered (I know lol).
I want to re-map my Fiesta, I doubt it will be via Mountune tbh.
In terms of a gearbox failure, I would imagine most dealers would look at what has failed, rather than why...and fix the issue.
If they find out its been mapped, yeah game over... But unless its blatantly obvious with stickers...
For me, its all about the Ph1 172... a decent PH1 172' will only appreciate in Value IMO.
A lot of people have the itch for them these days...sellers knows it.
I oddly have grown to like the Exclusive, when many don't. Prices have risen on that model as of late.
Ph2 172 and 172Cups are pennies...
Not a bad effort from Peugeot Imo
Although I'm sure some will see it as Peugeot using it as a comparison to the 205, in which Peugeot may have not done too many favours there.. (Arguments await)

HID's ftw!
I've got 35w 6000k in my ST and with a slight adjustment to the headlights alignment, there brilliant!
+ I don't get flashed by people coming the other way.
Even then a 172 would run out of puff pretty shortly.
Agreed! But..mark your forgetting that unless we're doing 0-60, the fiesta is slower... Real world driving situations do not apply!
Yes, because the fiesta's peak power at 5700rpm or 6200/6300rpm (Mountune) is so far behind a clio's 6250 rpm (give or take?) peak? let's face it... A 1*2 is barely a Rev monster.
Have you even driven a fiesta St?
Jesus, traffic light grand prix between a clio and a fiesta? Yawn..
But if that's the standard...bare in mind the fiesta has power restrictions in 1st and 2nd.
Id be intrigued to do how a 1*2 vs a Fiesta St rolling in 3rd onwards goes? Or is it 0-60 outside McDonalds only?
Mate of mine had one of these at 330bhp (Hybrid turbo etc etc) in the same colour.
Went extremely well!..
For some reason (scene points presumably) it was lowered, albeit not too much and stiffened to the point I found it hugely uncomfortable and utterly pointless lol.
I wish I took the plunge a few years ago and got one of these!!
As a daily and covering 14k a year now, I don't think it would be such a sensible idea now :frowning:
