Yes replace the pre cat one first.

Check the pre-cat lambda first. That is the one that affects the fueling IIRC. The post cat just checks that the cat is working by checking the emissions, and is usually in way better condition than the pre cat lambda.

To be fair, on my last tank in the T. I did a real world MPG of 35, motorway with the odd few short journeys. So not massively better than the R32! But the over reading is quite interesting!
