Re: Third Time Lucky; Trophy #41
Love the Turini's pal. I was toying with the idea of doing something similar when I had 4 refurbed a few months ago. But wussed out!
The sportlines are lovely. I really like mine and reducing the arch gap at the back a tad is of added benefit to the looks for sure.
If you are talking about the SERV light. Then that isn't a service light IIRC .Think it is to do with your brake fluid being low? I know mine came on and that was the issue!
Someone correct me if I am wrong!
Plus Gas is your friend.
Replaced my pre cat lambda at the weekend with Badgerman.... he soaked the bad boy in Plus Gas and it came right off. Having the right tool really helped though!
This is true pal.
I just think if you are spending that money on a "fast" Audi. You'd like it to shout about it a tad. Otherwise it is just like any other rep-mobile.
Those seats just oooze sex appeal and the rest of the interior looks quality.
But thats where it ends for me. The rear looks really....sloped. Seems kind of wrong! It doesn't shout at me to come drive it like I stole it. R26.R and Focus RS just look like they want to eat you and cr*p you out...
Didn't think the OP's parking was too bad.
Compared to this beautiful effort in my local Tesco's a month ago. Enjoy!
This person wasn't disabled either btw!
^^ Excellent little guide. Got my RSTuner arriving today or tomorrow and was starting to get my head around the procedure.
You sir will just have made it super duper easy. <3
Dave Dave Dave........you know you don't want to sell it. It barely owes you anything each year ;).
Does look good, green seats make me chuckle. If you do sell.....any mods to sell? hahaha
Plus I recognise that industrial estate!
If you want to sell the Vee to fund a kitchen......what kind of kitchen do you want? One that comes with a complimentary chef
Sell the Vee to me! I'll live in it!
I will check that too!
Am going to have a good rummage around later. I have a sneaky feeling it has something to do with where the lever connects to the bar which allows the seat to slide forwards and backwards.
BUT I don't know what I am looking for at the moment!
Cheers for the reply pal.
That handle that snapped on yours still works perfectly fine on mine. I think it has something to do with the tilt and slide part of the mechanism on the left and right of the recaros. Lift either handle and the seat tips forward, but I then cannot push the seat...
Ok so last night I discovered that my passenger side Trendline no longer wants to slide using the seat handles (the ones you use to tilt and slide the seat)
I can manually slide it forward and backwards using the handle under the seat and adjust the angle of the seat using the usual knob...
Chip speaks much truth.
Easily make your money back on all the bits and bobs on the T mate. Which will hopefully make you feel a bit better about this situation!
