This is true, however with mine I'm not looking at selling it. I just enjoy keeping it nice and going for the odd blast now and again. Regardless of what anyone says, one owner full history low mileage cars such as these will always be sought after. Pretty sure if I stuck mine in the for sale...
Mine is a RB 182 cup which I've had from new (OP - you spotted me a few years ago on the motorway in your van lol!) and is on 20.5k miles now,so must be one of the lowest. Won't increase much now either as new fiesta st due soon :)
Definitely keep the Clio and save your money. I know someone that had one of these for a short while and lost a fortune in expensive repairs. He got rid in the end a lot worse off. Fantastic cars but you'll need a stash of cash set aside for repairs & maintenance unless you're lucky!
My plan was to get a Golf GTI 7, but I asked myself do I really want to spend £10k more when I can have just as much fun in the ford which will also be cheaper to run. The Clio is just too expensive for a Clio IMO and the slow box is the big gripe.
Just checked my order form. Total price (excluding interest) = 17.6k for ST2 in met blue with sat nav. Also chucked in is style pack, mats and diamondbrite paint protection. I dare say you can do a lot better but I'm happy with that price given the APR.
I've not got the exact figures yet it won't be that much and I think the balloon payment is less. I got just over 1k off the basic price, added a couple of options plus you've got stuff like arrangement fee and interest which is 4.9% APR as opposed to the HP which was over 7% so it was the...
So closer to 3.5k by the time you sort the niggles and essentials. To the OP, pay 2k and expect to pay out on repairs and maintenance. As said above though, great cars.
Nope it's staying! Contemplated selling it but I know later down the line I'd regret. Anyhow, best of the 182's bar the trophy (IMO of course)
Back on topic, that molten orange colour looked awesome in the sun. Was a tough call between that and the blue
No it's everyone's favourite, the 182 cup with the crap chairs LOL. RB inc stripes though. Standard and still on original tyres (which are not perished!) apart from the recent addition of an rs192 catback. It's a pain being so mint as I hate parking it anywhere and it has been garaged from new...
Cheers. Quite excited (sad, I know!)
I put 1k down. Not got the finance agreement yet as need both parts of my driving licence, which I didn't have on me, and the car chassis number. It was about £390 a month with a £500 deposit so it will be marginally less having put 1k down. Initially...
Just returned home from Ford. Nearly talked myself out of going over night as in the last 2 yrs I've nearly bought so many different cars and changed my mind last min. Took my magazine in (did look on drive the deal) and said I want to pay this price and at first the salesman said no due the...
Agree with you. A French car approaching ten yrs old which will have more than likely had a hard life regardless of its service history will more than likely need more tlc. I love mine and chose not to get a 200 as prefer the 182. I'd expect to be paying out on more repairs on an older car tho...
I personally wouldn't as 182's are getting on now and will need more maintenance, and even if you pay a premium for a minter they're still gonna probably need more work. If you don't get on with the 200 then cash in and get something different. After all, you sold the 182 so must have not been...
Paid 13k ish for my 182 cup new in dec 2004. Other than FSH I have changed the back box c£400 and that's it I think. V low miles and not into modding cars, although exhaust is not standard.
If you wanted rid of it then why buy back? Think of the reasons why you sold it in the first place and if you feel it genuinely was a mistake to sell then buy it back for a lot less than you sold it!
