Ha! Hopefully no one here! Worst thing was when I saw the road block I thought it was for me and I think the audi guy thought the same. In a weird way it was funny seeing a 182 come leathering it down the hard shoulder.
Bout 15 mins ago. Was in the ST and suddenly I'm behind 3 volvos slowing the traffic. Next min a 182 joins at speed being tailed by a Vectra. Didn't see the outcome but can't see how he'd have got through the 3 volvos who'd gone ahead. Unmarked x5 then let us through and an audi rs4 driver just...
Old debate but the advantage of the 182 cup was that it was cheaper than a FF as it does away with some of the comforts mentioned above, but you get both cup packs as standard, so not pointless as a lot will say - depends what you're after. I'd sooner a 182 cup than a 182 with neither cup packs...
Bought Dec 2004 with less than 10miles on and just hit 21,000 miles, 5k of which I did in its first year. No issues as such (touch wood), recently replaced battery and swapped exhaust and need the aircon regassing at it's next service. Cambelt due again next year!
Just taken mine for a drive into the hills and it is simply mint. The handling is sublime and the torque just pulls you out of bends so quickly. Brakes are also razor sharp too. Just love this car.
Decided to take the Clio out to the Cat and Fiddle. Nice little drive and stopped to take some snaps of the views and the car of course. Feels loads smoother on its new wheels and tyres.
Whilst driving back I thought I'd love to take the Fiesta out, so got home and swapped cars and went...
I've found the 182 and ST fuel consumption are very similar. 47mpg is optimistic, my trip is showing 35-36 over 2k miles which is good given the performance.
Not driven either hard enough to truly compare. ST with mountune effortlessly quick and feels so planted in corners and I think it's the quicker of the two. ST nicer to drive, gears very slick and love the turbo but ride a lot harsher than the Clio. Totally different cars really and love both.
Had this car nearly ten years now (seems like 5 minutes) and it doesn't come out
very often hence the low mileage. Thought I'd give it a quick clean and a run
out today as the sun was shining, and decided to take a couple of pics as the
mileage when I returned home was on 21k exactly.
Car...
Re: Clio 182 54 Plate I'm considering buying?
Cornwall is a massive treck from Manchester so I would leave alone as you need to be sure it's good. You could either try to get someone off here who is local to go and have a look for you or your best bet if you want a decent 182 is to become a...
