to be fair the 360 elite is really aimed at the US market where marketplace has masses of downloadable HD films. These clock in at about 6-7gig a pop and thus people want to be able to store them on their HDD, even though once paid for they can be re-downloaded for free. for us UK guys...

no you will need a cross over cat 5 cable. it is essential that it is crossover and not the wire that is included in the 360 premium box. if you use that then the internet connection sharing wil not work.

Re: elite is out and about and taken apart yes he is. interesting to see if this new drive, which i believe to be made by BenQ can be flashed like the samsung and hitachi drives.

i havent had any problems with mine, i think they are popular just because they look nice. im not arsed if my mp3 player looks good or not as its just slung in my pocket, but at the time the nano was the best 4GB mp3 player going. it was tiny and i didnt want to watch videos so i got a nano.

R6 vegas is class online, although i do struggle to find a lag less game easily. Elite is impressive, i think im like 2 ranks above normal starting grunt.

dont think there is a way to take the old xbox online wirelessly, it has to be done with ethernet cable into a router/switch. you will also need xbox live time, and i am told, but not 100% certain, that the xbox live 360 codes are the same as the xbox live original codes.

not strictly true. there were rumours that microsoft would be using a smaller nm chip, 65 as opposed to 90 i believe, but microsoft have announced that all the internals are the same and that no new chip is being manufactured at present.

i dont really want to surf the net on my television, a mouse and keyboard is required for decent internet surfing. this keyboard thing looks a bit gimmicky to be honest, but will be interesting to see how it feels in my hands.
