360 problems.....

Anyone had there 360 chew up there games like smarties!?? It cuts out on a regular basis, sounds like it is grinding instead of spinning, and has already ruined my G.R.A.W 2 and Rainbow 6! Tried phoning the helpline to find im in an automated queue for 30 minutes (No thankyou)

Please say its not just me, as im using it as an excuse to go to the darkside!! ( PS3 )

is your 360 standing vertical? lay it horizontal, it is known to chew discs when it is up vertical.

I've got mine vertical had no probs at all, mate had the same problem as you (on an early 360) though and it was picked up and returned in two weeks with a new drive in it!

call xbox, and stay on the line even if it takes ages. Then tell the guy your xbox freezes constantly and wont play games, they willl replace it free of charge, ive done it twice

Mine is standing vertical, i'll try horizontal and give it a whizz.
