Hi, yeah drove through Newton on way home - my daily trek! Part-exchanged the 172, had to get the Trophy when I saw it, only done 15k from new :D

Always a bit sketchy when they don't come out nice and free, you feel that something is gonna go.

I had problems with my washer motor on the 172 and took me an age to work out how to remove the washer bottle. Wipers off (wiper arm tool or ball joint breaker), scuttle panel off and bottle has 1 10mm bolt, easy and can do it in 10 mins. Used some superglue and kitchen sealant on a small...

Had a 172 with exhaust, panel filter + matched inlet and the Trophy is in a different league IMHO.

Have a quick question re the air filter which is fitted - the cold feed which goes down into the wheel arch is not connected to the filter - is this the correct fitment? A cold feed connects to the filter but it sits just in front of the radiator. Thanks

Had a similar problem with my old 172 but mine was the mid section of the exhaust (near the hanger) which had rusted cat end, had horrid smell too. Worth a check.

I know it is the closest one to the engine on the 172 but unsure on the 182 :S

I want this too - mega bucks as was £1500 for the upgrade!
