I sold mine Wednesday last week. I'm going to regret that for a while. At least it has found a new place to live out its days in the hills, mountains and fjords of Sweden!
Utterly fantastic cars. I love every second of mine and if I had the money I'd have another tomorrow. People were a mix of...
Hopefully somebody can assist,
I am looking to change the wheels on my 172 from the current 182 '8 spoke' to a set of Team Dynamics Monza R's that I have sat in the shed. They are currently matt black with a red rim.
I am considering gloss black, anthracite and silver, however, i don't know...
I still have the Vee, I know I need to sell it, but I don't quite yet actually want to put it up for sale! I just ordered new discs for it this morning! And I would really like to get some of the paint issues rectified for the next owner before I sell it too.

Well, I decided a few weeks ago that I need to save more money for my first house, so this meant the V6 has to go
Here is the replacement,
It is 122k and in need of a cam belt replacement, but is otherwise in good condition.
I need to fit a splitter and replace the front rubber in the...
I absolutely love my V6. Very, very happy that I decided to actually get one after a very long time 'umming' and 'ahhhing' Anybody considering one, just go out and do it.
I was the same. I never use to like the phase 1, but the more I saw pictures of them the more they grew on me. In terms of looks only, I prefer the phase 1. I was the same with the 172 phase 1.
Ha, I absolutely love it. Greeny's car looks fantastic in the rear view mirror. Just the right height and 'aggressive' looking. It is a very nice 172.Greeny said a female friend of his had seen me broken down in a layby (a coil) a week before hand and described it as a "a clio with a body kit"
The summer sun is here, so I wenttwice over the weekend and took some pictures. Greeny came along in his 172 for the second drive.
The photos with car on its own were taken Saturday and the photos with the 172 are from Sunday. It was a lot brighter on the Saturday! I'm looking forward to the...
This car will absolutely insane when it is all done. I wish I had the the money, knowledge and time for such a project. Really looking forward to seeing the finished article.
It's been 5 years! I'm looking forward to it, shame about the bank holidays it won't be with me til mid week.
Also went for the Zalman Z9 case, it received good reviews and comes with a number of fans.

You have pretty much confirmed all my reservations about the Palicomp! I guessed the only way they could out it together for the price was to use low end components.
Almost considering sacking the self build off when I came across this:
