I would spend a bit more on the amp personally. I went for the Onkyo TX-NR515. It's now a ridiculous bargain, superb sound quality that I think is unbeatable at current prices. It's also exceptionally well spec'd.

Nope. I removed my seats but left the belts in, no issues with MOT. They may well have still tested the belts as said above though.

Check with your MOT tester, but if you take the rear seats out they may not test the seatbelts.
