ProAM do a set for circa £25 delivered. I think for that I may aswell just get a set ordered and Mig'd up. Unless of course some say its absolutely pointless
Are the suspension wishbone Pure motorpsort/pro am weld in plates worth while?
Polybushing the lower arms finally and wondered if its worth it whilst they're off. I have access to a welder and the ProAM ones are decent priced.
Or are they just a bit of a gimmick? Track car only.
Gonna move my battery to the inside of the car, and get a smaller battery aswell (unsure which yet) just to neaten the bay and fit the ktec induction pipe a bit neater etc
What's the go to for the ECU? Just bolting it down to the gearbox mount area with any holes and bolts I see fit
Or has...
It was good too see him, But i wouldn't go again. He more of tells stories and turns them into a joke but some sound really fake and far fetched as if he's had to lie to make it funny.
Funniest part for me was the opening when he first walks on stage ( unsure if he does it everywhere or just...
Spoke to the chap who had his done by Mark, the thing was absolutely flying in the wet. So much a friends already bought one, and mines being ordered on payday! Just trying to convince the 3rd of the group to get one aswell 😂
Looking to send my gearbox to NorthloopCup and having a diff fitted whilst there.
I was settled on a quaife, But then..
I've seen and heard bits from Blackline, mainly appear to be popular with 197/200 folk.
MattLewisRacing have one listed for the JC5 gearbox but nowhere else has any...
Evening,
After some help!
Me and a friend are a bit stumped. Long story short, Friend had a 172, with 197 cams and the correct timing tool for the cams. Had it all mapped by Chris at EFi, happy days, a year on crashes the car. Finds a full working 182, that's all standard, Swapped his engine in...
Following on from what's been discussed above.
A friend is needing rear discs and pads, and was shocked when I seen the genuine parts prices, so attempting to find a cheaper alternative..
I've tried to price up discs without bearings and SNR bearings today.
Turns out it's only EBC that sell...
After looking for close to a year, in roughly the same boat as yourself, I Looked at the DS'S, Spax 750's, Avo's and the Gaz golds. Went with the BC DS in the end, Absolutely transformed the car and very happy with them.
I believe they're "better" than the BR version, and same applies to Gaz...
We come down, then met with he chap driving the silver one whilst coming from the toilets of all places 🤦♂️.
He's sent the video across, just kissed the grass, a little slower and he'd of been golden I think.
If you know of any shells or engine failures he's keen to re shell it currently.
Did see it, cage still has the packaging on it? Looked clean!!
Just said the same to a friend of mine who's after a new track car after an incident yesterday, my lady has one so it's finding her a replacement so I can have that , there were 2 out of the abundance of them that just handled like...
Going through all my clios paperwork, i have paperwork from this vehicle, seems whoever owned it owned mine also, if your out there ive got a good few sheets if history,MOT’s and sales invoices etc.
Gets tested every year and is low mileage.
Fitted the whiteline RARB after it being in the garage for over a year, finally made the choice on some new Coilovers, fitted and went with a new set of Geometry settings ready for Oulton Next month.
As much as its time for me to get something M Power, I really don't think I can part with the...
Although Nowhere near as low as yours, mines just going over to 70k, 2004 182 which is a full track car. I know most on ebay say the old "as to be expected for a track car" but I try too keep mine as minty as possible!
I didn't push the button due to a reccomended coilover I've not even looked at until now.
Kevs advice was second to none and talked me through all the options, reccomnded the Avo's in the end . Does anyone have The current RT'S as a review point, it's put a right spanner in the works as I've...
I did a little reading on that last night about how it changes it, I just can't decide which to go for, I currently have the normal Spax rsx, but seem a little too soft up the front (342lb or 6kg)
I'm pushing the button today on a new set of coilovers!
Cars a track car with a once a month road drive just to keep things free!
BC Ds Coilovers with a choice of springs, swaying to either 9/8 or 10/8 with there use of top mounts.
Or Spax 750 Motorclub coilovers from Ktec, with the only...
