Re: Urgent help needed removing sterling wheel.
How do you make a school boy??, also make sure wheels are straight before taking off and when refitting and make sure you dont damage the airbag and horn wires
Yeah, just seems to be bit iffy.
I jet washed mine at local garage other week and as i was spraying in an around the scuttle panel the alarm went off, I think this was because i had locked it and therfore the alarm triggered but im not sure. I had a ph1 and the alarm constantly went off as op...
Someone mentioned you can diagnose the fault by unpluging the boot lock mech, if alarm stops going off then its the boot lock. Think from memory it's just one screw to remove boot cover and a load of clips. follow the black wire to the plug and just unclip then wait.
Or just disconnect the battery for tonight as your nieghbours wont be to happy. maybe tomorrow (as it is french) it'll be ok if not try the boot method mentioned above.
You're not going on about the bottom engine cover a square-ish shape bit of plastic, if so theres four bolts that hold it in place.
I cant think of anything that might be like a plastic bag. Need some pics tbh
^^^ not cheap but that's where i got mine from, just use a hairdryer/heat gun and Gently warm them up. clean area once removed.
Try to get them straight when applying the new one's, use some masking tape to use as a rule.
