Looks ok. Plasma tech is still very much up there with regards to PQ, however, the stigma of IR and burn has unfortunately remained since the early days (it's still a problem but much less of an issue these days). Plasma sales have ceased simply because the tech is no longer financially viable...
Haha TBH I'm not so sure the retina is worth the extra dollar. Side by side there is a difference however not as vast as you'd expect. A testament to the non retina screen I guess.
There's isn't much material out there which takes full advantage use of the retina.
The A2+'s do look very good.
The Ruark's I linked above also get great reviews as do the Q Acoustic BT3's

I currently have HK Soundsticks III but both tweeter speaker casings have cracked (they've not been dropped - poor quality IMO).
I'm after something relatively compact. TBH 2.0 would suit better than a 2.1 setup.

It was barely usable. Theres a reason why they released the 4 6 months after the 3, it just didn't have enough processing power for iOS7.
