I had to replace my leads and bought Magnecor second hand, they're great so far although doubt you'll ever notice a difference between these and standard!
Looks great... could I be really cheeky and ask for more photos of the car with the white interior showing? I'm wondering what colour to paint my 172 cup interior... white or anthracite are at the top of the list but can't make my mind up and a search reveals very little! Thanks!
Today, fitted silvervision bulbs, replaced crappy standard rear exhaust mount with prima racing one (awesome mod) and replaced my wheel bolts with TPI Polarised ones :)
I think you need to count yourself lucky; insurance companies will do everything they can not to pay out. Whilst you may not be at fault here one day you might and if you have undeclared modifications the insurance company can wriggle out of paying out. Unfortunately your insurance will likely...
Hi All,
I've got a 172 Cup that I've been slowly converting into a track car. At the moment I've still got the alarm sensors on the A-Pillars, mainly because I'm concerned about the alarm going off all the time if I remove them. As it's going to spend the rest of its life on the race track and...

I'm in Basingstoke but happy to travel if someone would help...
Possible indeed... I'd also look for signs of failing cat or lambda sensor. If you know an MOT guy, they may be able to check the emissions for you. Alternatively, as you said, find someone with a code reader locally.
I spoke with Fred previously about doing my car after I'd purchased the parts myself (thinking I would save money) but unfortunately not many people will do the work on your car without supplying the parts (or won't give you any warranty etc). So my advice is speak to someone like Fred and get...
I followed the guide on here, took probably 4 hours as it's the first time I'd done it and I wrapped the manifold. I dropped the subframe pretty much down to the floor whilst the car was on axle stands, makes it a LOT easier; just watch for any cables/pipes (e.g. brakes/PAS) being stressed when...
