forgot to clearly state 172 cup brackets are already bolted in place 182 setup including idler is already removed and out of the bay

i need someone to give me a hand tomorrow please and i will pay. nothing to big just no one is about to help me finish it off and i need it back on road asap. need to get the powersteering pump attatched, main pipe with bolt still attatched just need to reroute and bend the rubber one. or...

i have fitted the 172 cup brackets for the pas pump alone with tensioner bolt on it and bracket for the alternator (172cup). it seems that my pas pipe is to short? even if i was to bend it ? is there a way around it? my car is a 182 thanks in advance

As above was gonna fit some et30 195 50 15 to a 182 would it ruin my handling or put my speedo out ?

If your confident in your clio and drive it hard you will get past 106gti's and vts's as i found out at rockinham raxeway one was caged aswell lol

Seems to be a intetmittent fault mine has had two new lambdas and the light still comes on once a month even with std exhaust and cat. When i fat my exhaust and decat i couldnt get the lambda out the cat so drove it home without it light diddnt even come on decat diddnt make a difference. You...

i mean as in 172cup 2006 sarcastic as they dont make one and there wasnt a twin exhausts in the middle so it aint a 182 hence why i would say hoax

Apparently the bottom end is only good for 300bhp and with such a poor write up i highly douby it bell him lol

sorted was a bent nsf shock all done

bit late now unfortunately lol already got the shocks just to fit them

i dont know if its just because of the colour but 172 cups look like they sit lower ?

i think he was talkin about the dampening or summin i dont know lol sayin how they were designed for a much lighter car and about the way the shocks work they would sag from the weight of the engine bay lol . dont shoot the messenger just what i was told

just bought all four 182 shock absorbers from renault just to get sportlines now :)

synchro in 2nd and 3rd and seals bearings etc replaced £275 Shockingly good price he said if i get it shipped down be done in a day and shipped back i wouldnt even consider a 2nd hand box with them kinda prices

ok thanks for the replies guys. and i cant really afford to spend 500 pound or more on coilovers atm. how much are koni's because renault only charge 59 for front shocks and 56 rear ? also are 172 cup struts firmer than non cup 182 struts ?

My car is on a 2005 plate and has now done 57,000 miles and i want to replace my shocks and get eibach sportlines to replace springs and slighty uprate my handling. I am going to renault tomorrow to order some and then a thought just crossed my mind, would 172 cup shocks be better than standard...
