Carpro Ceriglass, glass polish.
Its cerium oxide based, so its particularly good at polishing scratches out of glass.
If you over polish it with a rotary, or dual action, you can get a lens effect if you distort the glass. But a bit of time and care taken would yield a vast improvement at very...
I unfortunately put 4 Rainsport2's on my 182 last summer.
Worst decision I have made whilst owning a car.
Totally totally ruined the handling of the car compared to the Pilot Exalto2's.
Steering feel when 'slaloming' on a twisty road where there are multiple fast direction changes, the wheels...
Does anyone know if the Yosemite update addresses the crashes that Mavericks instigated during sleep mode.
When I close the lid or 'sleep' after an hour or so the Apple logo flashes and the computer restarts. Then you get the system has recovered from an error message.
I never had this on...
Brilliant service from Josh to get the Cooksports to me following day, morning delivery for me to get them fitted ASAP.
Nicely boxed
Front spring
Rear spring
Cooksports have lowered the rear significantly, it rides better. (-20mm)
Quite like it, and I'm not much of a modder or into lowering springs, even the mrs likes it
I had continental sportcontact2 on my 172 and Twingo RS and they were great. Very surefooted i found on standard suspension setups.
Never wanted for anything better
Had Michelin PE2 on the 182 Cup and loved them, last 20k nearly on the front and 55k on the back.
Please do yourself a favour...
Cheers Mick
I think the mrs is looking forward to the new springs all round now. Reckons she may keep it a bit longer having invested a bit more in it.
Will have to get tracking done, but that may give a bit better response from the rainsport 2's.
Maybe time to get those damned rear exhaust...
Your advice was greatly appreciated Mick.
I'm sorry its not economically viable to stick the car on a pick up to get it to you.
I'm quite looking forward to getting the Cooksports now to be honest, and my mate around the corner (who was fixing the plumbing in the bathroom this morning) phoned...
I got prices, £95 each from Renault Parts Direct. Part No: 8200342860
Same from Renault Wolverhampton and my local stealer was £105 ea.
Cheapo ones from GSF and ECP I'm not interested in.
I have ended up getting a full set of Cooksports to be fitted tomorrow.
Approx 20mm drop expected, so will...
Broken near side spring on the front.
Renault want £110 each for genuine Cup springs. (!)
I had a search and saw that someone reckons they are about £45 each.
I'm not after lowering the front at all, so genuine or oem would be preferred.
What do you guys think?
Garage down town quoted me £110...
A lot of people mention the phrase "fried egg look" when talking about indicators on 'older' cars.
We've kept the 182 Cup seriously standard since buying it four years ago.
Hoping that when the time comes for it to move on, someone will be happy to put their hand in their pocket for a mint...
Parked opposite sides of the pumps, didn't get much chance to speak as they didn't turn my pump on for ages...
Anyone off here - I was in my RB 182 Cup
Yeah, no slickness to it.
I usually apply Raceglaze '55' by hand.
My daily driver is topped up with BSD
It'll be getting a full decon in a couple of weeks time (brake dust, iron particles, tar spatter present), then RG and BSD again.
My other QD is Clearkote Quikshine - thats a great product...
Car looks in great condition Jack.
Nice report too, a lot of people can pass these 'cheap' products over as crap, but if they work, then they're a bargain.
Really tidy example of an iceberg. Renault F1 team sticker sets of the front nicely too mate.
Has to be tried to be believed really.
I've shelved my time consuming waxes and put BSD at the front of the shelf.
If you're really after a smooth as glass finish, you'll be disappointed, it feels quite squeaky.
But if you're after a blingy finish, great beading and water behaviour, then its...
Don't have this problem with the sonax shampoo over BSD though. At all.
I've got some pure shampoo, but I quite like the Sonax.
May give Zymol or Supernatural a try next wash.
Yep, would be me
Tall skinny lad? Must be the stereotypical Clio driving position Lol :rasp: I think I must sit high up, makes me look taller.
I think I spotted you, were you a couple of cars behind a black Ferrari 360?
