I hope it's not just because it has fresh, clean oil in and the OP has panicked, after seeing the dark bulb on the bottom of the dipstick.
Edit: just re-read and no it's not.
Not you mate, I'm not getting the rolling bit. You're right he should have stayed in the car. Totally get what you've said. Unless Riz means you did well to avoid it, I don't know lol.
Glad you understand Willo. The driver of the first Caterham rolled out as far as I can see. Harv (as stated by himself, in the second car) did well, slowed down and carried on as you should. What am I missing?
^Hate to think of the budget of the top guys with their Goulds.
Still think people seem to be missing the potential implications of this and the fact that being insured wouldn't alter them being sued one bit.
Plus Mr. 458 shouldn't take his car on track, if he can't accept the worst...
I'm sure pre edit by the OP, they asked for opinions. I think then his response was asking for a link to buy some. They do seem more expensive at the moment but a bit of patience may save some money, as like I said the price does fluctuate.
I'd struggle to look more retarded than you. OP's location : Silverstone and the Ebay ad location : Nottingham.
I think the OP was asking if they were worth it and I gave my opinion based on facts.
I'm just interested in the internal investigation at the moment. Hopefully sense will prevail, I'd love to say common sense but unfortunately it isn't common anymore.
Oh sorry, still very confusing. Whilst I love Mallory, they don't do themselves any favours IMO. Their press releases are very sketchy, almost politician like and when you delve a bit deeper they bend the truth to suit themselves. Worth looking at their Facebook page as the residents respond to...
Or we continue as it has been for years and make a choice on whether to just insure our own for damage. If this is going to set a precedent, I can see it not only killing off trackdays but the tracks themselves too. I'm sure I'm not alone thinking that it would be a risk not worth taking...
Awesome little track, love it. I didn't go to the meeting as it was held elsewhere, whilst I was at Mallory. The result of it are what Tony has received today though, which I eagerly await the details.
