Does anybody know if the flange size on the back of the standard 182 cat is the same size as on most of the various de-cats and sports cats available for the 182?
It's just that the flange on my cat-back system is quite a bit smaller than the flange on the cat, so I'm thinking that maybe it was...
I've had the classic fusion ones and they were ok, but they missed parts of the screen, so I ditched them and got the Bosch Aerotwin flat blade jobbies, and they're miles better. They last a lot longer than standard wipers too. As for the back one, I just went to the stealers and got an OEM...
No mate they don't work with HIDs. Do you remember the 'Ring trip - we had to make do with some carefully placed electrical tape to avoid blinding "ze Germans".
Yeah one of those "too good to be true" prices methinks.
I'm not keen on the audi cabriolet either - it's a bit a middle aged woman's car, if you know what I mean, plus I couldn't buy a cabriolet that's based on a hard top version with the roof removed. If I go down the cab route, it would be...
Yeah running costs are foremost in my mind tbh, hence why a car like the Alfa would be silly for me to buy.
Now I know that there's plenty of 330d's in my price range, I think they're looking like the main contender for my next motor.
Mmm... I'd forgotten about BMWs. I like the 330 in the first link Ian posted. Right price too. I appreciate what people are saying about diesels, but the fuel economy means I can't rule them out.
LOL! Yeah you're probably right.
I wouldn't get the Meggy 225, as I'd just be wanting the R26 all the time.
The Alfa was stunning, but they want £17k for an 05 plater.
Ideally somewhere in the region of £12-13k. I'd love a Monaro VXR 500, but that's not gonna happen!
I forgot to say, I like the Elise or the VX220, but they seem a touch too expensive for a recent model (and there's nowhere to put the mountain bike). ;)
My 182 is over 3 years old and I feel it might be time for a change. I've looked at other cars, but nothing really stands out.
So far I've looked at:
Alfa Romeo 147 GTA 3.2 V6 - gorgeous, but too expensive and running costs too high
Subaru Impreza - quick, but too expensive and poorly spec'd...
The Police should take this seriously. Someone has refused to give details for an injury RTI, albeit minor. There's two witnesses, although they're not independant. I'd say it warrants at least an initial investigation.
Afraid not. It was coming the other way so I didn't have time to reach for a camera, plus I was in a state of shock at seeing something so unbelieveably crap.
