Since I upgraded my iMac has been restarting itself "due to a problem" (nice helpful error message) intermittently since 6am. Well fucked off. Gonna black the thing and install a fresh copy of ML tomorrow and see if that fixes it, if not then it's back off to Apple.

No I've been reading up on it more, whilst waiting for my code, and its only for notebooks with SSD. Gutted, don't really understand the reasoning for that as it would be really useful on desktops too IMO but I suppose that's Apple. May come in the future hopefully.

Basically still does things like system updates and Time Machine whilst the machine is sleeping and it doesn't light up, fire up any fans etc whilst it's doing it. Same here. When I rang the bloke was really appologetic, checked the system and said I'd been approved but apart from that...

Yup same for me, other people I spoke to got their codes instantly as they applied as soon as the site when live and others it took about two hours but I'm over 18 hours now and according to the Apple forums people are being advised that it can take 24-72 hours. FFS.

Safari lasted the amount of time it took to open it, navigate to google and download chrome. Then it was banished, probably never to be seen again. I'd do the same on my phone too if iOS Chrome wasn't painfully slow and unable to be set as default browser. Still no code either FFS.
