We took 2 cars. Me and my girlfriend in the bean and James and his girlfriend in his car. James and I did all the driving and it wasn't that bad to be honest. I would say most days were average 250 miles and took about 6/7hrs but that includes stopping for pics/wee's/lunch etc.
We don't have a...
Thought I would update since I just had a look.
There is some back and forward play on the NSF wheel, im guessing the CV joint. The ABS ring is fine and the boot and clip are still good.
On the OSF the ABS ring has cracked. Also the CV boot has split into 2 whilst still leaving the cable tie...
Id like the Spax set up but think im about to have to shell out ~£400 for some new driveshafts!
Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Did the San Bernadino and Stelvio passes as well as a few other good passes. went to the ring and did a few laps too! Did about...
Looking at it this way.. if i need 2 new CV joints as well would it make more sense to buy new driveshafts if they come with ABS rings on them already if 182FF rings are difficult to get? Thanks BTW Kev

Interesting that you have mentioned CV joints because Rentec mentioned that they were starting to show the beginnings of wear.
Thanks for the help il have a right good poke around tomorrow or Saturday. Im not the best with all this stuff but im wanting to learn!
Just come back from Europe in the car and after a couple of laps around The Ring ive started to get this strange noise occasionally during braking. It only happens some times when im braking with medium pressure and sounds as if the ABS is trying to kick in for about 1 second.

Worth still giving milltek a buzz or dropping them an e-mail. Scorpion changed one of my sections under warranty even though I was not the first owner so its worth trying just in case.
Personally I quite like Saxo's. I just hope the boy doesnt bin it after saving and putting all that money into it, he looks like a decent/sensible lad though!
The second pic im sure is for the leveling headlights and should be connected to the rear beam, so that when you have people in the back you dont blind folk coming towards you!
Sainsburys Straiton a couple of nights ago - looked for a CS sticker but couldnt see one!
George street today - Can I have your alloys? Mine are totally Fooked!
Mine has been doing this since I bought it as well! I just cut the hoses and put a one way valve in the wrong way for just now to stop it sobbing!
Welcome also :)
Welcome.
Cheaper to get new discs with bearing already pressed in than getting bearings pressed into your current discs!
PM G 172 for some rear discs ;)
Whenever I use my suction mount it seems to be really rattley and vibraty if you get me? All the screws seem to be tight but i still can't stop it vibrating and ruining the sound of the video! Yours doesn't seem to do this, so my question is..... HOW?!
Nice video though
Me and my mate are going to Europe in about 2 weeks and I was just wondering if I need headlight correctors with projector headlights? I just read something online about an Vectra having a wee switch that you could flick to make the headlights point the other way. Is this the same with the clio...
