Yeah I'm gonna spend some time lookin at it all in the mornin, I think also the bolt that holds the strut in the top mount could be too tight thus not allowing the bearing to move/ possibly breaking it, I'll see what I find hopefully the bearings aren't shot to s**t

Cool don't mind a bit of scrubbing, still haven't got round to doin it though, summat else always comes up!! Need to sort out this noise as well really

Ok so had a look at it today and it's definitely the springs moving aroundwhen turning, I oiled it all up a bit an think I made it worse as I just have to wiggle the steering wheel and it pings both ways right and left spring.

how low is your set up im gonna ave a go at dropping mine down further tomorrow, never done it before, do you get much scrubbing wen cornering hard.

guess it cant be that much of a deal then but if we all have the same set up and same problem then maybe summats up with the K-TEC gear, might e-mail them in the mornin an see what they say.

umm not sure exactly where they are or if the one in the cat is an o2 or lambda, someone else might know better about this, soz not much help.

i think if i didnt have an inferno id definately have black, where in devon ya from.

i had this ages ago and it was o2 sensors, apparantly there are two and if they are swapped it sorts it, had it done for free as i worked for renault at the time.

im surprised with these insurance prices anyone can afford to drive anything, especially with the price of petrol!!

yeah i know!! age helps!! i wouldnt ave bothered saying about mods if i was younger but thought as it didnt seem to add a lot, oh jus remembered got me dad on my policy which helped bring it down, if you have both parents try that but dont say its theyre car if it isnt companies dont like that...

just realised you asked what theyre fitted to not where, soz, think ive got them fitted to rear belt mount points but cant really remember!!

note it looks silly with no splitter ive got a skoda one on order, hit a rabbit and cracked the original and then a month or so ago it jus fell off and i drove over the bloody thing!! soz about the finger in the pics but you get the idea of the belts, had to get the company on ebay to order them...

Mines on K-TEC coilys but I'm gonna try winding em down a bit tomorrow cos I think it'd look better a bit lower, they're making strange pinging twanging noises too so gotta check that out doesn't seem anything dangerous tho

No idea about the washers as K-TEC fitted them wen I had cambelt and 36K service last year, as to the oiling I'll give that a go tomorrow couldn't get it to make the noise on my drive today whilst tryin to work it out an then went for a nice drive n it twanged!! Typical int it.

oh right but its quite frequent as in every time i pull off my drive and now when turning at junctions and hasnt always been like this.

umm off the top of my head i dont think theyre gold more a greyish dark colour. would be sweet if they replace dya know if theres a limit to this as ive had mine less than a year.

haha you havin problems, im on K-TEC coilovers an theyve started pinging and twanging when turning which is a little annoyin!! thinking bout winding down the back a bit too level the stance out, do you get much scrubbing that low, looks good tho, what else ya done with regards the many differences.
