What sort of drop have you got on the cup? Is it running the trophy turinis or have they been refurbed in that colour? And do you have 205/45 tyres on?
Very nice exhaust btw, dont think I'd have the balls to go for a decat though. It would either be that exhaust or the 182 lookalike for me...
^^If I was paying that sort of money I'd want to see a dyno printout of the "900bhp", which was probably achieved when the car was mapped on japanese fuel. I think it would be putting out about 700+ , remapped on uk fuel.
Well it will be worse for the first 500 odd miles until the tyres bed in.... Which will still mean it will be easy to wrap ur car around the nearest lampost in the wet!
I had this problem but it had dropped out the bottom of the engine as the renault garage hadnt done up the sump plug properly after its last service. No damage though.
In terms of performance difference you would only notice this in a 172/182 according to allen collen on the renaultsport site due to these cars being mapped to run on the higher octane fuel. It does however help to clean the engine of deposits.
Steering wheel controls can only be kept if you buy the adapter for it. Around £40. But this ive been told requires the whole top half of the dashboard to be removed to get access to it, if you have the dashtop display....
I had the same initial problem with my h/u, just make sure the rubber...
I posted a while ago what when i came on and off the throttle in the dry that it sounded like the front tyres were breaking traction with the road in 4th on a dry road! I got a vid of it last night and it seems that its a knocking noise....
What do you think it is? Gearbox or engine mounts...
Im not impressed with the front wheel refurb. They didnt get anywhere near the colour match when you look at the back wheel. (In the full side shot). Oh and these pics were taken on my k750i which I didnt think were too bad.
Cheers

I really dont know what I was thinking... Came home from work shattered, needing my kip and I decided to wash and polish my cup! All by hand! Wish I hadnt of started cos my arms were dead afterwards! I really need a pc!!!
Anyway here are some pics.... Tell me what you think!
I noticed as...
Sorry I was mistaken about the 4th in the dry. Not a chance, only if the road is greasy. But as has been said b4 it might be a mount or something that is causing it. Sounds like a knock but similar to when the front wheels lose traction.
I've just said above that the road was wet at the time. You better get running then! ;)
Im just wondering whether this is linked to the steering wheel wobble I get at exactly 70mph, and I've been to 3 tyre places that say my wheels are perfectly balanced! :(
Does anyone then get what feels like wheelspin going into 4th when the road is wet or damp? From recollection it only happens in 4th when the road is greasy or very wet, and only with aggressive shifting.
