True but I'll never get a decent beam as they also alter the alignment of the light.

    Gaz.'s 1996 Mazda RX7 FD3S Efini (JDM & Rotary Content)

The week started out fairly well for the car and I, with a weekend of throwing it around thanks to the alignment, I was fairly content. I even had a tiny bit of internet fame... Then, once again it all had to go to s**t. First off, it's started idling so badly that you'd be surprised it...

I thought that, but studs piss out. Old wheel nut on them and a sharp smack with a 4lb hammer.

    Front jacking point?

Jacking on sills should be banned. Hate seeing them all folded over and curled up. Subframes FTW.

These weren't cheap ones though. Bolt on is w**k IMO, you're adding an extra point of leverage. It's minute, but it's enough.

You going longer studs and a slip over hubcentric, or bolt on? Mine were bolt on hubcentric and I'm adamant that's why they felt s**t up front. Sandwiched on the studs directly into the hubs is the way I'd go in the future.

    Mg in liquid yellow ?

It's not liquid yellow. They did a factory yellow similar to Liquid Yellow called Sunspot, it's fairly rare.

LOL at 45mm spacers. I hated 25mm up front on the Nissan, never felt right.

    Hankook V12 vs Uniroyal RS2

I love RS2s so much I've had them on all my cars since the ZR. Awesome value, great in the wet, and Continental Technology.

Doesn't surprise me, nuts are nuts at the end of the day. Wanted some Part Shop Max ones but they're alloy, and I'd rather have steel and know I can tighten the f**k out of them without fannying around with the torque wrench like some kind of homo. Same here on the rust, the key just wears the...

    Gaz.'s 1996 Mazda RX7 FD3S Efini (JDM & Rotary Content)

With a bit of luck I'll get to a meet at some point! Yesterday, I fitted the rear brakes. Well that's not entirely true, I fitted the discs only. Reason being, I couldn't bodge a tool to wind the calipers in. Luckily the old pads were still full of meat (about 7-8mm), had worn evenly and were...
