Had a few cars tbh, none of them really felt that great.
MK4 Astra SRI Turbo
206 GTI 180 (the partner now owns it)
106 GTI (done a few trackdays but ultimately the car was abit of a dog)
Own a E46 BMW 330 aswell as the Clio now :) Hopefully the Clio will see a fair bit of track action next year.
Lol cheers for the comments guys.
Car made me laugh earlier....
Pop to tesco for some shopping, come back out to the car, turn the key...dead... 5 minutes later it randomly starts.
LOL bloody things :) another job for the weekend, earths!!!
So a year and a half since owning it, I have purchased my old 172 back after 2 owners since myself.
I should never have sold it tbh, the amount of money and time I remember spending on it made me feel abit rough after selling it...
Browsing the For sale section I noticed it...done the whole...
I was undecided to begin with, but chrome grilles wernt for me, nor the horrible indicators lol.
116k atm, recently RR'd at 228bhp, then RR'd again with super unleaded and pipercross panel filter at 234bhp lol :)
Hows yours going?
Have an Xbox 360 I no longer need.
Its just under 2 years old - black elite
The original 120gb HD packed up, had a spare 60gb which it now uses.
Has 2 controllers
only game is Forza 4.
Not sure what to expect for it?
Just a few pics of it.
Specs:
2002 Msport 330 Manual.
Full black leather
Clubsport gearknob
Carbon interior trim
Xenons, cruise, climate etc...
19" CSL Staggered wheels in black
Eibach Sportline springs
DEPO indicators and repeaters
Carbon fibre badges and caps.
Black kidney grilles
My ph1 done it to.
Plugged it in to find Air temp sensor was knackered.
Had some fun times with the boggy from cold though, drive it a lil bit...let off and tap the throttle *pop pop pop* lol
Got Spec 2's on my 172.
Rate them pretty well in the dry, but have no great confidence in them once in wet conditions.
I remember having to stick to 60 or so on the motorway because It felt like I was going to slide all over the place!
Wont be buying them again tbh, thinking Michelin PE2's!
Theres your pipework.
The S bend coming off the intercooler is a common pipe to split, may be worth checking that one.
Also, Number 1 on the diagram can sometimes be at fault, the little sleeve hose.
I'd go for a Meggy tbh!
Id love to get my Ph1 S/C'd, and would happily do that over buying a 197.
Backing the megane on this one though, much more potential and imo a better looking car.
