My biggest priority for winter is to get a diff in the car.
Current thoughts are quaiffe as I do still want to occasionally use it on the road (ring trip especially) and the gripper might be a bit harsh. But I have also been looking at mfactory diffs as they seem to be popular with the jap lads...
Seems like ages since I updated this.
Car is staying. Unfortunately work priorities have meant my plans for more track time this year have pretty much dissapeared. Tax runs out end of October and I can't see me getting on a day before then.
BUT attention has already turned to winter...
My rear calipers packed up - couldn't get a reading from them on the MOT
New were really expensive but because they're the same as 106/306/xsara etc.. and most other renault/citreon/peugeots there were LOADS of them on ebay.
Think I paid £30 for a mint low mileage pair of calipers, bolted them...
^^ Careful that's not the beginning of the end curse mate. Since I became a full time web developer I lost all interest for doing it in my own time.
My mates that went into proper motorsport engineering all drive diesel bangers now lol

I've found burton power good in the past and you can order online

The coolant sensor that's tapped into my thermostat housing for the omex certainly looks the same size/dimensions as standard so it wouldn't suprise me if you can just fit the omex one into the existing hole.
It's weird that you need a coilpack - mine runs off the 172 coilpack.
I didn't think I would be able to make this as I was meant to be down at Brands Hatch for the BTCC finale - but looks like I'm not doing that now so I'll bring the Cup out for a play :D
:D
Thanks for the recommendation. I've read a fair bit on suspension theory in the past but for such an old book it's really good. Covers nearly everything from what I can see from my skim through.
Bit of lunch time reading :D
It's a fairly chunky 40-60amp cable. I wouldn't think it would go through a multi plug. It should come from the main engine bay fuse box like a starter motor cable would
