Arent u supposed to have it serviced after 12 months regardless of mileage? reason i ask is mine is low mileage too and unsure as to whether its 12k or 1 or 2 years
i think the autoglym gold wax is bloody good, the sealant you have to leave on for an hour, brought my car up like id never seen it before. Ive also got some of the meguiars nx tec which is good.
Turtle wax fine tho mate considering the average joe either doesnt wash it at all or uses washing...
in my old banger before and noticed steam pouring out the bonnet, thought it might have been oil leeked onto manifold, however popped the bonnet and water pissing out the top of the coolant filler cap - does anyone know if this is a pressure release system as the cap was on tite, or is it likely...
i was in two minds whether or not to get them, i had a mate with me when i bought the car and he reckoned they were a must so i persuauded the dealer to chuck em in. It really does turn heads, if i hadnt got the car id say no dont tacky, but you have to see em in the flesh and they do look awesome.
fan belt shouldnt be too dear, but yeah it makes you wonder what the hell they do to your car when its in for a service apart from a very expensive oil change
totally normal, the grade of fuel will have nothing to do with it (not wanting to start another fuel debate), its just the build up of condensation in the exhaust system
I think the French are spot on with their cars, in the early 90s a lot of manufactures toned their cars down and concentrated on safety, where as, as mentioned above, some cracking hatches came out of France - VTS, 106GTi, Williams......
just noticed as well the stripes on mine and Jays are over to the right (as you look from the front) where as on the 04 theyre more central - not that it makes a massive difference!!
